Our Vision and Mission

Vision

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FATETA) is already at an established stage in the development of science and knowledge in the field of competence. The strength of the teaching staff, education staff and students as well as educational facilities, research activities and a wide network of collaboration encourage increased roles at a higher and wider level. All of these forces become sufficient capital for global competition in the field of tropical agricultural technology. Therefore, the vision of FATETA is set as follows:

"Become a leading faculty of higher education in engineering and technology with a focus on agriculture, marine, and tropical bioscience."

Mission

In line with this vision, FATETA's mission for development in 2019-2023 is as follows:

  1. Organizing superior education in the field of engineering and technology with a focus on agriculture, marine and tropical biosciences.

  2. Organizing with excellence research, development, and dissemination of knowledge and innovation in the field of engineering and technology with a focus on agriculture, marine and tropical biosciences.

  3. Take an active role in the field of engineering and technology with focus on agriculture, marine and tropical biosciences contribute to culture, science, and well-being community life.

Objectives

In accordance with the Vision and Mission of FATETA IPB, various programs have been prepared with the following objectives:

  1. Produce competent graduates in the fields of engineering and technology, integrity and competitiveness.

  2. Produce science and technical and technological innovation that are beneficial to society.

  3. Empowering the community in implementing and cultivating technical and technological innovation.
